Our first trip was in May. We headed down to an indian village called Havasupi, its in one of the tributaries leading to the Grand Canyon.

We took off down the trail with Jon and Corriann. It's a 10 mile hike in, but luckly all slightly down hill!

As we turned the corner this image hit us like a breath of fresh air. Havasupi Falls. We were so tired and hot from the hike that we couldn't wait to go dive rightinto the water.

Alli was nice enough to invite Greg and I on this little trip with her huge group of friends, I think there was 20-25 of us in all. Stacey, me, and Alli looking out over the canyon right above moony falls.

In some area's of the canyon there was so much greenery that if you didn't look up you would have thought you were in the jungle. The colors were beautiful though, the deep green, red rocks, and blueish- green water were majestic at times.

Moonie Falls. 300 Ft waterfall

Greg diving just below one of the Beaver Falls, a cascading waterfall of 3-4 falls.

The mighty Colorado River! We took one afternoon to hike the long 14 mile trek down to the Colorado (This picture doesn't give it any justice). It was amazing and the water was so COLD compared to the Havasupi river. It felt so good on my legs that i just went and sat in it to give my legs an ice bath :-)
