Mt. Nebo July '08

Greg and I got a crazy hair and decided to hike Mt. Nebo. It was a 10 hour long, grueling, steep hike. 16 miles round trip. But the feeling of accomplishment when we got to the top was so worth it.

We camped-out just above the trail head the night before so we could get an early start.

This was about a mile from the top, on the front/ west facing side. One slip on this shale would be a long slide down!

It looked and felt like we were on the tundra or the moon! Its amazing that there's plants up here concidering there's snow and ice 9 months out of the year. The top is just beyond greg and you can see the faint trail in the back ground.

WE MADE IT!!! The views were amazing and well worth the challange. If you ever want a butt-kicking workout I'll recommend this one :-)
