I was looking back through pictures that I've taken this year and decided to throw some of them out that brought back good memories. they're in no specific order and completely random, but they were good times that need not be forgotten.
In July Jeremy, Gunner, Addie and I went up to Christmas Meadows in the Uinta's. It was a beautiful area and that early in the season everything was so green! We fished the little stream and had a fun hike in. Later that night we met up with my parents and Stefanie and Ellia at the soapstone camp ground for the night.
Stewart Falls. The Fernandez family and Gunner, Addie, and I headed out for a summer hike and a breath of fresh air :-) We had lunch, played in the water, and ran under the waterfall.

One of our biggest projects of the '08 summer was moving up to SLC county and painting the house we moved into.
The painting started as a quick project that ended up being a very long process. We found that the white paint we were going to paint over pilled right off in some area's so we had to pill and scrap the whole room we were working on, then sand the whole thing, wipe it off, prime, and then finally we could put the paint down. It took alot of hours and days, but in the end it looks amazing and we are so happy with it. So here are some pics of the progress and the project completed...
As you can see some places came right off, then others like the white spot in the wall behind me took alot more effort. Eventually we were able to scrap the whole place clean.
Gunner and Addie came up and helped us scrap one day. It was such hard work we treated our selves to some of the world famous cheese fries at Training Table.
Almost done, just doing all the detail work!!!
And now the finished project!
Front room and sorry with the Christmas decorations
A bedroom and hall way. This hall way was a pain because there were 8 different door frames to be scraped and taped.
And our last room so far has been the kitchen. A fun project that seemed impossible in the beginning but some how we finished and now the house looks perfect! I love it!!!
Juli, Sam, Rachel, Carol, Mark, and I went on a little hike up big springs in Provo canyon early in the season.
We got all the girls of the family together to go to the Nutcracker, a fun christmas activity.
Addie and I at a basketball game.
Cascade Springs in July.
This was my horse Indy. I had 2 great years with him and learned alot, but unfortunatly I've had to sell him.
Addie's little softball team that I helped my dad coach. We were awesome and won the leauge and tournament. It was a great experience and fun to get to hang out with Addie!
Basketball season. My biggest fans were Greg, Gunner and Addie and of course my parents. Always going on road trips to watch a simple little basketball game.
The three seniors: Riley, me, and Ashley.
Us down in Vegas the night before the game. We went to watch the Bellagio water show after dinner. The best thing about being apart of a team is the friendships you create with your teammates. Friends for life!
The highest point in the pic is squaw pk.
We hiked squaw peak, or as I like to call it "pride rock" cause it looks like the rock on the Lion King ;-) It was a fun 4 hour hike. It was also fun cause I'd never been up there and had always talked about it. And as Greg would put it... "look at the amazing folds of the rock below" as you look down and at the other side of rock canyon.
