One chilly October Friday morning I woke up around 430 so I could meet up with Travis and head up AF canyon to hike Mt Timpanogos. It was pitch black when we started that morning and after about 15 min my head light went out so we hiked with one light in the dark for about 2 hours. We cruised up the mtn to find some spectacular views of the area. When we got to the top I just about froze to death! Lucky Trav toughed it out for me and let me take his coat for a bit. The leaves were all still turning colors and the sun rise was beautiful! (we saw two: the sun coming up into the Heber valley and Utah valley).
